J. Ivory Myers

J. Ivory Myers III, aka ‘Church’, has spent the last 12 years perfecting his craft. Ivory’s roots lie in krump, but he specializes in other various hip hop styles as well. While earning a BFA in Dance from Arizona State University, he was able to diversify his style and add levels to his dimensional movement quality. Ivory spent years dancing with the world-renowned Elektrolytes and helped them win the USA Championship at Hip Hop International in 2011 before they went on to win their title as America’s Best Dance Crew. Currently, Ivory performs nationally with EPIK Dance Company. He is also a leading member of the Be Kind Crew, a group of dancers affiliated with the Be Kind People Project, that promotes kindness in public schools from New York City to Los Angeles. Ivory finds the most joy in using dance to mentor, inspire, encourage and motivate the younger generation of artists and loves to hang out with “the future!”
