NWDA was in Seattle for Celebrity Dance’s Sweet ’16 tour this past weekend in Seattle. NWDA soloists and teams shone on stage, earning high gold and platinum awards as well as several Top-3 Category and Top-3 Overall placements across multiple divisions! Special congratulations to our Poodles in Paris and Stitches teams, and to Emma Griffith on their 1st Place Overall wins! We love how well-organized Celebrity events are, they really set the stage for a stress-free, fun and high-spirited weekend!
NWDA dancers also enjoyed special master classes with Celebrity instructor and judge Chelsea Michener the weekend before. Chelsea focused on contemporary dance styles, leading our mini, petite, junior, and teen students through challenging classes designed to help them reach beyond their comfort zones and venture into new areas of performance. Thank you, Chelsea, for visiting our neck of the woods and working with our students! We look forward to seeing you next time!
